TERROIR
UCO VALLEY
A terroir at the foot of the Cordón del Plata mountain range, with vineyards standing at altitudes between 1,100 and 1,400 masl (3,600 to 4,590 fasl). The broad temperature range lends the grapes a unique personality, which translates into full flavors, defined aromas, great body in the mouth and excellent acidity.
The grapes that give life to Cruzat sparkling wines are manually sourced from our vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and the high Uco Valley region, in the province of Mendoza. These geographical regions are located in dry areas characterized by low rainfall, overall
mild temperatures, harsh winters, pleasant springs, and summers with warm days and cool nights. Soils are deep and display a sandy loam texture with the presence of stones, which results in very permeable land.
